In 2019, Amazon announced a significant upgrade to Fire TV Cube 2nd generation over its first generation. Later, in 2021, Amazon started shipping a newer version of the Alexa voice remote with the Cube but did not make any upgrades to the Cube hardware that year.
In September of 2022, Amazon announced its new 3rd Gen Cube. Previously, the 2nd Gen Cube was the latest model of the Cube. The 2nd-Gen Cube may still be available at Amazon, and the 3rd-Gen Cube is available here.
In this spec sheet, I provide complete specifications for the 2nd Generation Fire TV Cube including hardware specs, technology, features, compatibility, dimensions, supported audio and video formats, and more. I am working on a Spec Sheet for the 3rd Gen Cube and will make that available soon.

About This Fire TV Cube Specs Sheet
As part of my due diligence in preparing reviews for this blog, I noticed that full, detailed specs for many products in a tabular format were unavailable online.
While the vendor and even major review sites like CNET provide limited detail, no site provides comprehensive specifications datasheet detail on a single page. I aim to remedy this with this new format.
Please leave us a comment below and let me know what you think. If you have thoughts for improving this format, we would love to hear those as well. Thanks!
