Buyer’s Guide: Choosing the Best Soundbar with Google Assistant
When shopping for the best soundbars with built-in Google Assistant, it’s essential to consider several key factors to make the right choice. This buyer’s guide outlines the crucial aspects to remember when selecting the best soundbar with Google Assistant.
Size
Ensure that the soundbar’s size matches your TV and room dimensions. Ideally, the soundbar should be similar to your television or, at most, a few inches shorter. Consider the available space in your room and where the soundbar will be placed to find the best fit.
Controls
While Google Assistant provides hands-free voice control, having additional control options is crucial for optimal user experience. Look for soundbars that offer remote control, a brand-specific app, or an onboard control panel. These alternatives will come in handy, especially if the remote is misplaced.
Connectivity
Choose a soundbar that offers both wired and wireless connectivity options. HDMI is the preferred wired choice, as it supports high-resolution audio and simplifies setup with a single cable. For wireless options, look for soundbars with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or both to enable seamless streaming and connection with external devices.
Functions/Features
The specifications and unique features of a soundbar significantly impact the user experience. These can vary between brands and product models. For instance, some soundbars include a Night mode that softens the sound and adjusts the volume to prevent disturbing others during late-night streaming sessions.
Other soundbars may offer room calibration or multiroom options that adapt to your environment and improve sound quality. Additionally, customizable sound modes allow you to tailor the audio experience to your preferences. Gaming mode, for example, can enhance volume and directionality to match fast-paced action, while other modes minimize distortion and emphasize bass to clarify dialogue.
Choose the Best Soundbar for You
When selecting the best soundbar with Google Assistant, consider the size, control options, connectivity, and unique features. By keeping these factors in mind, you’ll be well-equipped to find a soundbar that provides both convenience and a high-quality audio experience.
